Who is Eligible?
• Students (age 12-18)
• Individuals
• Communities (Townships, Municipalities including their agencies and departments)
• Schools
• Colleges and Universities
• Nonprofit/Civic/Community Organizations
• Government Agencies
• Businesses
Employees: Large-50+/Small-49 or fewer
• Mass Media/Communications
All nominations must involve actions, projects, programs or individuals that occurred or live/work within the SWACO district. The SWACO district includes all of Franklin County, Ohio and any area of a community in Franklin County that stretches across the border with another county.
Note: Previous award winners may submit nominations. However the new nomination must be for a different project than the original Emerald award winner.
Entry must be based on actions, programs, and projects that occurred in the calendar year 2009.
